Obituary for Evelyn Titus

Evelyn Martha (Hoins) Titus, 90, of Vancouver, died January 6, 2019, at McKays Healthcare and Rehab Center in Soap Lake, WA.

She was born on June 27, 1928, to August and Anna Hoins in Winter Park, Colorado.

In 1926, her family immigrated to the United States first in West Portal, Colorado, where her father helped build the Moffatt Tunnel. Evelyn spent most of her life caring for other people so they could remain in their home as long as possible.

She is survived by her son, David Hoins, grandson, David Roberts and great granddaughter, Evelyn Roberts all of Vancouver, WA. Thirteen nieces and nephews: Walter Lawrence of Brookfield, CO, Delores Smith of Aurora, CO, Lt. Col William Naigle (Ret) of Choctaw, OK, Col Alfred Naigle (Ret) of Clifton, VA, Stephen Naigle of Ephrata, Maj. Richard Naigle (Ret) of Chesapeake, VA, Patricia Martin and Mary Keller of Quincy, Nancy Schanze of Moses Lake, Susan Liedle and Mark Moulton of Macon, GA, Dina Polin of Seattle and Charles Riedel of University Place.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, four sisters and one niece.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Quincy, WA.
