Condolences

Condolence From: Gilbert Olivarez
Condolence: It's with a heavy heart that I come to you today Tia. There are no words to express my sorrow at the lost of Tio Wally. I'm sorry I was not able to be there with you and your family.

I have many memories of you and Tio as I was growing up. I remember when I was in Jr. High and Tio Wally was build a shed in the back yard. If I remember right, at that time you guys lived in front of the Jr. High. Another time I was at your house and Anthony was still in elementary school and he was having trouble with spelling. Tio Wally was helping him. The word they were working on was " butter " Anthony was trying to spell it but was having trouble. Then Tio Wally got up from the kitchen table and went over to the refrigerator. I was puzzled at what he was doing. He reached into the refrigerator and pulled out the butter. when he notice I was looking at him, he let out a big laugh. We all laugh cus Tio Wally was having trouble with the word too.

I know dad was one of the people who greeted Tio Wally when he arrived in heaven and all the others who put their trust in Jesus who went on before him. What an inexpressible place heaven is to us here on earth. I have heard wonderful testimonies of people who have gone to heaven and come back to tell about it. You may ask, " what does this have to do with Tio Wally funeral? " Well you see, for a person to be in heaven, that person must be alive and not dead. Which means that Tio Wally just went home.
Matthew 22:32; New Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition
‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is God not of the dead, but of the living.”

You and Tio Wally have been together for so many years. Your souls have grown together and inter twined so that, when he left, there was a ripping and tearing of the soul. An empty space left. Jesus I ask that you put Your merciful arms around my Tia, Your precious daughter. Help her Lord at this most difficult time, also her sons Lord. And all the other family members who were able to come and those who could not. Lord, fill the empty space in this family with Your great love, Your mercy, Your grace. But most of all with Your presence.

Lord, we thank You for receiving Tio Wally into Your merciful arms. I lift up to You Lord this precious family and ask that You help them now. For they need You Lord. And Lord when the tears come and the heartache comes. Father remind them of the great times You gave them together. Father remind them that, because of Jesus's great sacrifice. We have the great hope of seeing Tio Wally again. In the merciful name of Jesus, Amen.
