Hanna Marie Carlson
Ephrata, WA
We lost our beloved aunt, Hanna Marie Carlson, who passed away peacefully on August 24, 2018, at the age of 100. She was born in Quincy, WA, and was the daughter of Sam and Emma Reiman.
During her senior year at Quincy High School, she was named Princess Quincy, and rode the school’s float in the Wenatchee Apple Blossom Parade. Her first job shortly after graduation, was that of editor for the Grant County Journal. Married to Ernie Carlson, the couple lived in Ephrata, WA, for the length of their marriage. There were no children. Both were active in the affairs of the Ephrata Lutheran Church.
Hanna was preceded in death by her husband, Ernie; parents, Sam and Emma; sisters: Laura McComb, Claira Craig, and Essie Rainey; and brothers: Albert, Rudy, Emil, and Walter Reiman.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018, at 2:00 p.m., at the Quincy Cemetery, Quincy, WA.
