Condolence From: Craig & Jacquie Lakoduk
Condolence: I (Jacquie)knew Fred from the time I was a teen, but I think I was about 22 years old when I had the pleasure of getting to know who Fred really was. He spoke nothing but good things about everyone he knew. Even the ones he had good reason to dislike. He and my cousin had a daughter together and they lived just down the street from me for a while. He was always a good and kind father to his step daughter and daughter. I don’t think he would like us to refer to his step daughter as his “step” daughter. He always introduced her to everyone as his oldest daughter, Ashley’s big sis. He would take them for walks to my house to have play dates with my sons. Our youngests were about the same age, so it really turned out to be a play date for Sara and Matt. We would sit and have coffee and watch our kiddos play while we sat on the porch. Our families would get together regularly for dinner at each other’s house and sometimes we’d play cards or just shoot the breeze. He was always very polite and very kind. I was sad when they moved and I’m angry at myself for not staying in touch with him. I hope he is drinking coffee with the big guy in the sky while he watches his grandkids play. I didn’t know you for very long, but I knew you long enough to know you will be missed by anyone who had the fortune of calling you their friend.

Love and Miss ya,
Craig and Jacquie Lakoduk
